With many years of experience we have the expertise to provide comprehensive, first-rate services to our clients. In this section you will find items from a range of different categories illustrating before and after blasting, with significant results. The following examples were then prepared further, some for polishing and others to receive patina treatments etc.
Below: Victorian padlock in very rusty condition prior to sand blasting. This lock had to be fully disassembled and thoroughly cleaned in order to carry out repairs and make it function correctly. External lock was also cleaned and antique style patina treatment applied to look original again.
Below: Same Victorian padlock after sand blasting removing all rust and grime to bare metal which allowed repairs to be carried out successfully and allowed the assembled lock to function correctly without stiffness. Significant difference after blasting.
Blasted Items can then be cleaned thoroughly by compressed air and washed with appropriate solutions, dried and oiled or painted/lacquered to finish. Alternatively, prepared further to allow polishing or any other finish, such as patina chemical treatments.
